A historic and defining feature of social work is the profession&#8217;s focus on individual well-being in a social context and the well-being of society. Fundamental to social work is attention to the environmental forces that create, contribute to, and address problems in living.\nThe mission of Balochistan Institute of Psychiatry and behavioral sciences (BIPBS) Clinical Social Work Department is to provide the standard of care for our patients. We recognize that the impact of a psychiatric illness affects multiple aspects of a patient&#8217;s life as well as the lives of family members. We strive to help patients to cope and make changes that will help them to live as fully as possible within their
