BIPBS has established a jail ward in it’s premises for forensic psychiatric services.
BIPBS provides mental health care facilities for the prisoners of Quetta Central Jail and Mach Jail, our medical officers visit the prison with regularity, every two weeks the convicts with psychiatric complaints are inspected in the jail; moreover, if asked by a court, the convict is inspected by a specialist.
Sporadically, psychiatric opinions are entreated by the court regarding the prisoners’ mental stability, ultimately the prisoners are scrutinized.
