Three days workshop of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) conducted at Balochistan Institute Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences (BIPBS) Quetta from 16-18th October 2018, which was attended by registered participants as Psychiatrists and Psychologists from Balochistan and three participants from Karachi. The workshop was inaugurated by Brig (Retd) Movadat H Rana and closed by Deptt Secretary Health Dr Rohail Ahmed Kohso. The facilitators were Col. Malik Wajid Ali and Dr Khadeeja Tahir.

Mental Health Day Celebration activity is held at 10th October Serena Hotel Quetta, attended by a number of Senior Psychiatrists, Consultants Psychiatrists, Postgraduate Trainees of Psychiatry and different Medical and surgical allies, Medical Officers, General Practitioners, Nurses, and different specialities of University of Balochistan. The speakers were Dr Amir Bux Technical advisor (Directore ) PPHI Balochistan, Dr Lal Muhammad Kakar, Dr Inam Shabir, Dr Taj Baloch, Prof Dr Ghulam Rasool, and Dr Zain ul Allah Kakar, Dr Ramesh Chand, Dr M Nasir Kakar, while Dr Jalal Ud Din Rumi was stage Secretry.
