Diploma in Mental Health Nursing is first public sector training program .it has been started on March 10th 2017. It is a joint venture of College of Nursing Baochistan and Balochistan Institute of Psychiatry and Behavioural Sciences .The first batch has completed the training on 30thjune 2018. The training is accredited by Pakistan nursing council .
The objectives are Promotion of Mental Health Nursing in Balochistan through Capacity and capability building in mental health nursing to meet the needs of Mental Health Nursing Services at secondary and primary health care.

Tele-Medicine System Launching

Balochistan Institute of Psychiatry launched Telemedicine Clinic for Health Care & Psycho-Social Support Services on Gender Based Violence supported by WHO and funded by DFC. Ceremony Chaired by Dr. Rubaba Buledi, Parliamentary Secretary for Health, Government of Balochistan and Dr. Palitha Gunarathna Mahipala WHO Representative, Pakistan.
